摘要: Globally, businesses are implementing corporate social responsibility policies that address sustainability issues, including environmentally responsible design and manufacturing. With continued economic growth in the developing world stricter environmental regulations, heavy equipment manufacturers faced with challenges of completing impact assessments improvement analyses. Designers face difficulties selecting appropriate materials processes for reduced life cycle impacts, especially when weighing these alternativ es against performance, uality,nd cost, characteristics which can be evaluated using wellestablished analysis tools. Two process plans a representative product compared (LCA). Through this application LCA, it is found results depend upon assumptions made analysis. It also noted uncertainty information relating to processes, subjectivity weights translates into ambiguity conclusions drawn from Still, findings do provide insight product/process changes will reduce impacts.
