摘要: Following the initial findings suggesting a pro-oncogenic role for p53 point mutants, more than 30 years of research have unveiled critical exerted by these mutants in human cancer. A growing body evidence, including mouse models and clinical data, has clearly demonstrated connection between mutant development aggressive metastatic tumors. Even if molecular mechanisms underlying activities are still object intense scrutiny, it seems evident that full activation its oncogenic requires functional interaction with other alterations. their pleiotropic effects, simultaneously activating several aggressiveness, engaged multiple cross-talk variety cancer-related processes, thus depicting complex landscape network. In this chapter revealing evidence illustrating different ways through which cooperation may be achieved will discussed. Considering proposed as driver cancer disarming function uncoupling alterations, stands out an exciting possibility novel anti-cancer therapies.
