摘要: A dynamic domain decomposition strategy is proposed for the effective parallel implementation of combined finite/discrete element approaches problems involving multi-fracture and multi-contact phenomena. Attention focused on parallelised interaction detection between discrete objects. Two graph representation models, are a load imbalance re-balancing scheme also suggested. Finally, numerical examples provided to illustrate performance achieved with current implementation.
