摘要: Closed blood bag system for long term storage of red cells (RBCs) without contamination due to storage. System comprises the combination a white cell (WBC) filter in sterile communication with plastic made from film substantially free extractable plasticizers. In use, an RBC preservative solution (preferably within closed system) is added mixture RBCs and WBCs then passed through remove at least 98% WBCs. The filtered pass into attached can be stored up 42 days.
