Electrostatic discharge protection for pixellated electronic device

摘要: An electronic device (10) comprises an array of pixels (12), arranged in rows and columns (14,16) with row column address lines (18,20) for addressing each pixel (12). Each line is connected to two discharge (30,32) through a circuit (38). The allows the passage charge between first (30) when at potential below that line, second (32) above line. This provides electrostatic protection against increase or decrease voltage on during manufacture device. By providing suitable voltages operation manufactured device, it possible prevent from operating, thereby saving power.
