摘要: The discovery of essentially contested concepts (ECCs) is W. B. Gallie's (Proceedings the Aristotelian Society 56 [1955-56], pp. 167-98 and Chapter Eight in Philosophy Historical Understanding, London: Chatto Windus, 1964; page references are to book). It seems me that interesting important because it illuminâtes nature many philosophical arguments. I find odd, therefore, has been neglected. My aim here reconsider ECCs. This will lead some basic dis-
