摘要: A method is provided involving altering the viscosity of bio-derived paraffins to produce a paraffinic fluid, where step includes oligomerizing paraffins, unsaturating chlorinating or combination any two more thereof; are produced by hydrodeoxygenating bio-based feed; feed comprises fatty acids, acid esters, comprise n-paraffins; and n-paraffins have biodegradability at least 40% after about 23 days exposure microorganisms. Also methods protecting substance applying fluid producing an orifice in substrate injecting into substrate.
