摘要: Ship grounding is one of the primary maritime navigation casualties and a result an error made by navigating officer, technical failure on vital ship equipment or force majeure. In order to decrease risk in such cases, this paper explores movement during when extraordinary event occurs, as steering system that affects vessel’s direction directly speed indirectly. One way determine circumstances simulating navigational simulator according predefined scenarios, explained paper. A total 60 scenarios were researched, process which type, size, rudder deflection angle varied. During simulation, all relevant data concerning current graphical display performed simulation recorded every 30 seconds. On basis results it possible worst case scenario can be used define consequence grounding, parameters necessary for assessment grounding.
