摘要: This paper reviews our knowledge on binary central stars of planetary nebulae and presents some personal opinions regarding their evolution. Three types interactions are distinguished: type I, where the companion induces mass loss; II, it shapes loss but does not enhance it; III, a wide orbit causes centre to move, leading spiral embedded in wind. Surveys for discussed, separations compared distribution post-AGB stars. The effect close evolution nebular morphology is discussed. Post-common-envelope binaries surrounded by thin, expanding disks, expelled orbital plane. Wider give rise much thicker torii. Type I predicts masses stars, skewed towards low masses. Comparison with observed distributions suggests that this unlikely be only channel formation nebula. A new sample compact Bulge shows about 40% binary-induced morphologies.
