摘要: In the European rural development policy special emphasis is placed on support of agro-food industry which regarded as an important economic driver in areas. This paper analyses and compares employment population changes Denmark France period 1990 - 2006, applying a regional adjustment model. We modify classical Boarnet model by addressing agro-food, manufacturing, services sectors explicitly. Besides revealing interactions between three analysed we estimate impact exogenous factors, e.g. amenities public services, changes. To account for spatial error autocorrelation estimated, generalized two-stage least squares procedure. The empirical results both countries do not export base hypothesis, i.e. growth manufacturing sector driving service sector. However, considering there are indications positive this growth. Denmark, has also growth, indicating that focus policies may be reasonable.
