摘要: Abstract Experimental test for premixed laminar combustion of ethanol–air mixtures has been conducted in a constant volume bomb. The burning velocities are determined over wide range equivalence ratio at elevated temperatures, by means the measurements spherically expanding flames using schlieren photography technique. effect flame stretch imposed front discussed and Markstein lengths deduced to characterize on propagation. Following linear relation between speed stretch, unstretched have derived. Over ranges studied, power law correlation suggested as function initial temperature ratio. empirical is also compared with those data available literature, it found that discrepancies acceptable.
