摘要: Three different nonlinear optical techniques, CARS (coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering), resonance-enhanced CARS, and DFWM (degenerate four-wave mixing), were used to compare the reactive quenching behavior of two electronically excited sodium atoms, Na(3p) Na(4p), in a collision with H2. In chemical reaction channel both states produce NaH molecules, but case it is shown that not direct formation process involves more than one step. Both induce population vibrational levels v″=0–3 NaH. For excitation molecules concentrated at v″=0, whereas for Na(4p) state has its maximum v″=1 level.
