摘要: A fiber optic rotation sensor, employing the Sagnac effect comprising all components positioned along a continuous, uninterrupted strand of material. The sensor includes detection system utilizing modulator or modulators for phase modulating at first and second harmonic frequencies light waves which counter-propagate through loop formed in strand. Each is operated specific frequency to eliminate amplitude modulation detected optical output signal. sensitive detector generates feedback error signal proportional magnitude controls driving such that component from cancelled held within small range amplitudes.
