摘要: In the last years traditional construction materials, such as wood, glass and steel, have been increasingly replaced by polymer composite materials due to their superior properties. However, this feature has also raised buildings' combustibility fire hazards. Polymer modification with inorganic nanoparticles can be a potential efficient solution control matrix flammability without sacrificing other important study new type of unsaturated polyester based enhanced retardancy are developed, through nano/micro oxide particles common flame retardants systems. For purpose, design experiments on Taguchi methodology analyses variance were applied. Samples different material contents processing parameters resultant from L9 orthogonal array produced, properties assessed quantified single-flame source vertical tests. It was found that effects Unsaturated composites modified nano micro showed better performance compared neat improving at least one property whatever nature filler. More thorough studies required in order improve mix formulations towards further enhancement.
