摘要: BACKGROUND We estimated rates for common plasma-associated transfusion reactions and compared reported various plasma types. STUDY DESIGN AND METHODS We performed a systematic review meta-analysis of peer-reviewed articles that reaction rates. Random-effects pooled were calculated between types. Meta-regression was used to compare types with regard their rates. RESULTS Forty-eight studies fresh-frozen (FFP; mixed-sex male-only), amotosalen INTERCEPT FFP, methylene blue-treated solvent/detergent-treated plasma. average FFP were: allergic reactions, 92/105 units transfused (95% confidence interval [CI], 46-184/105 transfused); febrile nonhemolytic (FNHTRs), 12/105 CI, 7-22/105 transfusion-associated circulatory overload (TACO), 6/105 1-30/105 transfusion-related acute lung injury (TRALI), 1.8/105 1.2-2.7/105 anaphylactic 0.8/105 0-45.7/105 transfused). Risk differences not significant TACO, or reactions. Methylene led fewer FNHTRs than (risk difference = −15.3 FNHTRs/105 transfused; 95% −24.7 −7.1 reactions/105 male-only cases TRALI difference = −0.74 TRALI/105 −2.42 −0.42 injuries/105 transfused). CONCLUSION Meta-regression demonstrates the rate is lower FFP; whereas no are observed Reported suffer from high heterogeneity.
