Photoconductivity in correlation to absorption in plastically deformed germanium

摘要: Measurements of photoconductivity in deformed germanium are able to confirm the two level model suggested by absorption measurements and published a previous paper. The threshold is found n- p-doped material indicating dislocation levels about 0·1 eV distant from conduction valence band edge, respectively. In n-type transitions highly polarized whereas no dichroism p-type material. This also accordance with measurements. Durch Photoleitungsmessungen gestauchtem Germanium kann das einer fruheren Arbeit durch Absorptionsmessungen nahegelegte Zweiniveaumodell bestatigt werden. wie p-Material erscheinen Stufen der Photoleitfahigkeit, die auf Versetzungszustande, jeweils etwa 0,1 von den Bandern abgespalten sind, hindeuten. Der optische Ubergang im n-Material zeigt eine ausgepragte Polarisation, wahrend kein Dichroismus gefunden wird. Auch dies ist Ubereinstimmung mit Absorptionsmessungen.
