摘要: The peptide transporter PEPT-1 belongs to the proton-coupled oligopeptide family. contains most likely 12 transmembrane domains with amino- and carboxy-termini in cytosol. carrier protein is responsible for electrogenic proton-dependent uphill transport of dipeptides tripeptides related drugs. driven by three forces, proton gradient, membrane potential, substrate gradient. substrates are selected peptidomimetics, stereoselective.
