摘要: 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid, a compound widely used as weedicide, markedly increases I131 uptake by rat thyroid in vivo. Measurements of number function criteria, including cell height, rate discharge from the gland, and serum pituitary TSH levels, indicate that this effect does not involve thyrotrophic hormone but represents direct on peripheral iodide pool. This was confirmed isotope equilibrium analysis level. The can be demonstrated only rats which functions normally, occur hypophysectomized or iodine-depleted animals.
