摘要: The conditions of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis in a powdered sodium carbonate-magnesium mixture optimum for the preparation largest amount carbon nanotubes (CNTs) were studied. yield and nanofibers was weakly sensitive to selection catalyst. ceased increase noticeably at relative catalyst content higher than 10 wt %. For first time, reaction performed with an iron-nickel limestone-magnesium mixture, that is, cheapest reagent containing carbon. produced small number CNTs nanofibers; cubic crystals, predominantly MgO, also observed.
