摘要: There is mounting evidence that active galactic nuclei (AGN) selected through optical emission lines or radio luminosities comprise two distinct AGN populations, whose activity triggered by different processes. In previous papers, we studied the host galaxies and environment of radio-loud AGN. this third paper study properties a sample Type-2 were on basis their [2-10] keV X-ray luminosity. We find luminosity function in good agreement with studies fraction hosting an strong stellar mass galaxy. The shape fraction-mass relation similar to are emission-line AGN, while it differs significantly from observed for radio-selected our tend be located underdense environments where galaxy mergers interactions likely occur. For all masses, display infrared excess at short (∼3.5 μm) wavelengths, suggesting presence hot dust possibly associated dusty torus. These results add weight belief selection criteria identifies population but high masses.
