摘要: Abstract This paper presents an overview of experimental investigations conducted at China University Mining and Technology Beijing (CUMTB) on roadway excavation using large-scale geomechanical model tests. The simulated sedimentary rocks are composed by alternating layers sandstone, mudstone coal seam inclined varied angles with respect to the horizontal including 0°, 45°, 60°, 90°. During excavation, infrared thermography was employed detect thermal response surrounding under excavation. obtained raw thermograms were processed denoising algorithm, data reduction procedure Fourier analysis. temperature (IRT) characterizes overall rock response; images represent structural behavior, spectrum describes damage development in frequency domain. Deeper understanding achieved comparative analyses differently masses image features IRTs, spectra.
