摘要: The effect of microstructure on the rheology clay/polymer nanocomposites is investigated using dispersions organically treated clay in nearly Newtonian poly(dimethylsiloxane). Degree dispersion and floc size are altered by two different procedures changing shear history. scaling for dynamic moduli attractive colloids applies, except a possible relaxation mechanism at very low frequencies. time to reach crossover given frequency found be extremely sensitive procedure used. Hydrodynamic elastic components steady state stress, other hand, evolve similar fashion systems. Although times stress change drastically with flow-induced changes structure, process hardly has an all. Intermittent start-up flows forward reverse directions show that anisotropy persists long after flow been arrested, even rates where no large reversible flocs present. degree only had limited anisotropy. Finally, structure recovery studied. Very increase rate recovery, small strains.
