摘要: Parasitic diseases are responsible for major health problems in developing and underdeveloped countries of tropical subtropical regions. Among helminth parasitic infections, filariasis, ascariasis hookworm infections contribute significantly to the global burden infectious disease. Lymphatic filariasis (LF) is a neglected disease remains second leading cause permanent long-term disability after mental illness [1]. also known as elephantiasis mosquito-borne tropics subtropics. LF transmitted by variety mosquito species across world infection usually occurs early childhood but typically takes long time manifest form clinical mostly asymptomatic vast majority infected individuals. When worms enter into lymphatic system, induce alterations, which leads lymph fluid accumulation causes disfiguring swelling limbs genitals elephantiasis. not fatal, it deformity with DALYs (disability-adjusted life years) impact on socioeconomic development [2].
