摘要: Human-like characters in the interface may evoke social responses users, and literature suggests that realism is most important factor herein. However, effects of on user are not well understood. We developed an integrative framework, called I-PEFiC, to explain 'persona' user. tested part model using experimental design which 140 middle school students were class-wise shown informative virtual reality demonstration incorporated either a realistic or unrealistic (fantasy) character, no character. Findings show, first, persona effect task performance. discuss how engagement might be related effects. Second, designed character contributed when controlled for various perceptions. Moreover, perceived aesthetics task-relevance further influenced engagement. Third, performance combined better predicted satisfaction than one factors alone. In sum, several appearance- task-related satisfaction. Thus, all.
