Bayesian inference of population expansions in domestic bovines.

摘要: The past population dynamics of four domestic and one wild species bovine were estimated using Bayesian skyline plots, a coalescent Markov chain Monte Carlo method that does not require an assumed parametric model demographic history. Four share recent rapid expansion visible in the African buffalo (Syncerus caffer). timings expansions are consistent with archaeological records domestication.
