摘要: Sleep deprivation is increasingly common and poses serious problems for optimal cognitive functioning. Here we review the empirical literature on consequences of sleep loss working memory. The bulk research suggests that essential inhibits general attentional mnemonic abilities influences neural activation in frontal parietal cortices, areas critical Decreases task performance are typically accompanied by decreased task-relevant under conditions deprivation. However, there some evidence can lead to increases as a compensatory mechanism allowing maintained performance. We conclude discussing what known about remediation these impairments through use caffeine other stimulants.
