摘要: We performed a retrospective analysis of the incidence, risk factors, and clinical outcome hepatic veno-occlusive disease (VOD) in 50 children prepared for bone marrow transplantation with busulfan (16 mg/kg) cyclophosphamide (200 mg/kg). The overall incidence VOD was 28% (14/50). among patients transplanted leukemia 36% (14/39). In contrast, no patient genetic developed VOD. Neither age, sex, remission status, type graft (i.e. allogeneic or autologous), past history liver nor pretransplant function tests were associated an increased addition, 23 had samples available antihepatitis C virus (HCV) testing; 3/23 reactive (two nine one 14 without positive anti-HCV). found high pleural effusion (7/14), association that has previously not been described. manageable resolved all patients.
