摘要: We report the effects of alloying both magnetic and nonmagnetic elements on a double‐transition system. The system studied is Gd72–xTxGa18B10, where T=Al, Fe, Co, Mo, Pd, Th for 0≤x≤24. Fe incorporates strong ferromagnetic exchange leads to crossover behavior with rapid increase in ordering temperature. Co produces behavior, but this case temperature decreases increasing x. up 24 at.%, has only small effect as seen ac susceptibility. other all induce paramagnetic spin‐glass transition reasons are discussed. also show that while some samples larger x partially crystalline, no transitions associated these crystalline precipitates present
