摘要: A panel of commercially available monoclonal antibodies and five heteroantisera were used to distinguish subtype 138 cases acute leukemia (AL). The immunophenotype was compared with the French-American-British (FAB) classification obtained on cases. discriminated myelogenous (AML) from lymphoblastic (ALL) recognized not distinguished by cytochemistry (22% cases), mixed lineage phenotypes (13% separate populations lymphoblasts myeloblasts (one case). Using immunologic derived criteria AML, correspondence FAB subtypes M1, M2, M4, M5 possible in greater than 80% combined morphology/cytochemistry devised for AML subtyping. It is recommended that immunophenotyping should be done at least all negative or inconclusive cytochemistry. At present, we suggest until a "gold standard" identifying leukemic developed, best method typing using combination morphology, immunophenotyping.
