摘要: Using disk form multilayers, a semi-analytical solution has been derived for determination of displacements and stresses in rotating cylindrical shell with variable thickness under uniform pressure. The thick cylinder is divided into layers their corresponding to the cylinder. Due existence shear stress thickness, equations governing are obtained based on first-order deformation theory (FSDT). These set general differential equations. Given that n disks, sets obtained. this equations, applying boundary conditions continuity between layers, yields stresses. A numerical using finite element method (FEM) also presented good agreement was found.
