摘要: Background Regulatory T cells (Tregs) modulate immune system by suppressing other cells. In current exploratory era of immunotherapy, the detailed enumeration data Tregs in pediatric AML is lacking. Aim Serial assessment Treg absolute values at diagnosis and follow-up; correlating with outcome. Study design Prospective study. Methods objectives were determining (CD4+CD25+Foxp3+) assessed diagnosis, post-induction, post-consolidation, 3 6 months follow-up relapse 30 consecutive patients. Results Patients had higher baseline frequencies than controls (P=0.0001). Female patients, WBC > 50,000 × 103/L hypoalbuminemia significantly associated high values. Baseline not DFS, EFS OS. decreased after induction chemotherapy (P=0.028). Using generalized-estimating-equation regression model, numbers continued to decrease each time point from post-induction till (P=0.029) those who are continuous CR; however, patients relapsed, did change last preceding (P=0.39). Conclusions This first study demonstrates that increased diagnosis; number female gender count. as compared their value. Post CR, continue stay CR but so relapse; this suggests possible role leukemogenesis.
