摘要: ADP–ribosyl transferase (ADPRT) is a DNA-dependent nuclear enzyme which covalently attaches ADP–ribose moieties derived from NAD to proteins form mono- or poly-ADP–ribosyl derivatives1,2. ADPRT activity strongly stimulated by breaks in DNA3,4 and the required for efficient DNA repair5–7. Several reports have suggested that metabolism of poly- mono-(ADP–ribose) might also be involved differentiation various eukaryotes1,2,8–12. In most convincing these, inhibitors were shown block chick myoblasts vitro11,12, was accompanied appearance single-strand DNA. We present here evidence obligatory early mitogen-induced activation human peripheral blood lymphocytes. The requirement this coincides with rapid (1–8 h) rejoining quiescent Hence, breaking rejoining, regulated ADPRT, may general mechanism differentiation.
