摘要: Abstract In summer 2012, an experiment was conducted in a shallow eutrophic lagoon with poor water exchange to determine the consequences of harvesting algae on algal mat itself, which traversed and repeatedly disturbed by large harvester boats. Four areas high macroalgal density, measuring half hectare each, were selected. Two subjected frequent disturbance sediment (12 two-hour operations over 38-day period) other two left undisturbed as control. The following variables determined: 1) column physical chemistry nutrients; 2) redox potential, nutrients organic load sediments; 3) C, N P content thalli; 4) biomass. 2013, further larger scale. Biomass estimated high-density 235 ha, where macroalgae harvested stirred up four boats, mats 150 120 ha, control (9.15, 9.92 3.68 kg/m 2 , respectively). first experiment, no significant changes observed column. main variation reduction labile matter increase mainly refractory areas. showed drastic substantial stability large-scale biomass declined about 63%, only 6.5% due harvesting. On hand, higher density underwent natural decline 23% increased 50%. These results demonstrate that boats can cause decay mat.
