摘要: The city of Can Tho, located on Vietnam’s Mekong Delta, has been identified as one the nation’s most vulnerable sites for adverse climate change-induced impacts. Tho’s policymakers are faced with tackling these challenges but lack necessary tools and funds to properly address situation. study aims develop a set indicators assess degree change vulnerability so that can determine which districts in need attention, then propose best options adaptation activities.,The indicators, including quantifications exposure, sensitivity adaptive capacity, were categorized three tiers, from 1 3, reflect their importance regard higher tier comprised number lower developed based real-life, practical situations at local level.,The results showed Thoi Lai District, indicator estimated 0.59, is more impacts than other because its capacity sensitivity. In contrast, Ninh Kieu District’s 0.24 demonstrates it resilience impacts.,This provides promising approach supporting Tho actively respond change-related challenges, this potential be upscaled cities Vietnam.
