摘要: Freely walking crayfish, Procambarus clarkii, were studied using a video analysis procedure adapted especially for use with crayfish. The animals placed in tank and their homing behaviour was filmed as they returned straight line to shelter. Various sequences at the two following levels. First, trajectory of each pair legs (from leg 2 5) during step cycle (power stroke return stroke) measure stride length analyse detail changes acceleration. Each found contribute specific manner locomotion. Second, ipsi- contralateral coordination investigated. Ipsilateral involve metachronal organization from front back all recorded, whereas involved, addition weak alternate coupling commonly observed treadmill walking, another pattern where on side (legs 3 4) are phase. results obtained these free-walking discussed compared those previously, particular situations.
