摘要: The results of crystallographic analyses on a series 1 ∶ 1 and 2 ∶ 1 co-crystals formed between 2,2′-dithiodibenzoic acid (DTBA) each 4,4′-bipyridine, trans-1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethene 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethane are described. Neutral molecules connected via O–H⋯N hydrogen-bonds leading to chains found in the co-crystals. intervention lattice water pseudo-polymorph DTBA ∶ 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethane consolidates into 2-D array. Proton transfer occurs so that predominant motifs DTBA anions charge-assisted O–H⋯O− interactions. In co-crystal 2(DTBA) ∶ 4,4′-bipyridine, characterised as monohydrate, layers comprising interspersed with bipyridinium cations by molecules. 2(DTBA) ∶ trans-1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethene 2(DTBA) ∶ 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethane co-crystals, O–H⋯O define columns which threaded N–H⋯N+ hydrogen-bonding. Finally, pseudopolymorph, 2(DTBA) ∶ 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethane.EtOH, bridged rectangular defined solvent ethanol reside.
