Wave energy devices and the marine environment

摘要: Several types of wave energy converter were chosen from the UK Wave Energy Programme to represent shoreline, bottom-fixed nearshore and offshore structures. These all evaluated for possible deployment in Hebridean area off west coast Scotland. Marine fouling was considered with reference its physical affinities. Its effects on various devices evaluated, together methods prevention removal. The overall influence any converters inshore environment, changes sediment regime composition plant animal communities examined.
