摘要: Abstract Histopathologic examination of the pathologic specimens using hematoxylin & eosin stains represents backbone modern pathology. It is time-consuming; thus, “real-time” assessment prostatic and periprostatic tissue has gained special interest in diagnosis management prostate cancer. The current study focuses on review different available techniques for evaluation surgical margins during radical prostatectomy (RP). We performed a comprehensive search Medline database to identify all articles discussing or intraoperative RP. Several filters were applied include only English human subjects published between January 2000 March 2019. revealed several options including frozen sections, confocal laser endomicroscopy, optical spectroscopy, photodynamic diagnosis, coherence tomography, multiphoton microscopy, structured illumination 3D augmented reality, ex vivo fluorescence microscope. Frozen section gold standard technique real-time examinations RP; however, other showed promising results initial clinical trials, considering rapid development field molecular cellular imaging, some these may serve as an alternative section.
