摘要: The aim of this review is to provide an overview detection cardiac fibrosis with MRI using current standards and novel endogenous techniques. Assessment important for diagnosis, prediction prognosis follow-up after therapy. During the past years, progress has been made in MRI. Cardiac infarct size can be assessed noninvasively late gadolinium enhancement. Several methods contrast have developed, such as native T 1 -mapping, 1ρ Magnetization transfer imaging, 2 -mapping. Each these will described, providing basic methodology, showing potential applications from applied studies, discussing challenges or pitfalls. We also identify future steps developments that are needed bringing clinical practice.
