摘要: Abstract The electronic contact between a bulk metal and nanoparticles can be significantly different from that two metals due to the unique structure in nanometer size. In this work, Au Al is studied by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. deposited on layer of capped with conjugated 2-naphthalenethiol (Au-2NT NPs) high vacuum e-beam deposition at room temperature. 4f spectrum (XPS) changes after deposition. New XPS bands higher binding energy appear. angle dependence indicates electron transfer takes place Au-2NT NPs. contrast, hardly for saturated 1-dodecanethiol. effect attributed through 2-naphthalenehiol into core nanoparticles, as Fermi than Au. This understanding provides guidance development novel devices.
