摘要: Adenoviruses can efficiently induce immunity in the lung following single enteric delivery. These viruses also be engineered to express a number of heterologous proteins vitro. In past 10 years, recombinant adenoviruses expressing variety antigens have been constructed and tested. This article reviews main properties which render them attractive for vaccine development, as well results immunization studies performed date. Some disadvantages this technology desired characteristics second generation adenoviral vectors are discussed.
