摘要: With 5-year cancer survival rates increasing and breast appearing in one of eight women the United States, health-care providers need to become aware issues common this population. Knowledge coping strategies can be used improve lives survivors. This descriptive study a semistructured interview delineate concerns as perceived by 14 who had lived at least 5 years after diagnosis cancer. Informants gave evidence survivor personality they described use multiple strategies, with information-seeking, work, spirituality, family being predominant. The majority indicated that awareness vulnerability effected changes how viewed life. Their major concern was fear recurrence. These made adjustments living were able describe positive aspects their experiences.
