摘要: Govind Wildlife Sanctuary is very rich in Biodiversity. During recent investigation on the bryoflora of this area, Campylopus schmidii (Mull. Hal.) A. Jaegr. (Dicranaceae) has been identified, which a new addition to Indian Himalaya. It was previously reported from South India. In India, genus represented by 10 valid species. The taxon characterized leaves with hyaline and denticulate tip. Leaf costa stereids only dorsal side, back grooved lamellae. basal cells are sharply demarcated an oblique line median rhomboid incrassate. A morpho-taxonomic account above provided.
