摘要: In this chapter we review the literature on cognitive decline and dementia in African American elders with a specific focus Mini-Mental Status Examination, Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), Cognistat, Short Blessed Test, Mini-Cog-Functional Activities Questionnaire (MC-FAQ), Community Screening Interview for Dementia (CSI-D), AD-8, Clinical Rating (CDR), examination of ADLs IADLs. our found that adjustments to cutoff scores screening measures may be necessary based age, education, literacy level. addition, there are number cultural considerations must taken into account interpretation assessment results. Specifically, recommend educational attainment consideration when interpreting measures. When screen results suspected decline, further will including using collateral contacts. Lastly, MMSE useful terms establishing baseline performance used track over time.
