摘要: Insulin resistance was evaluated in 807 middle-aged subjects at a health survey, with use of an index measured 75 g oral glucose tolerance tests.The mean value insulin higher hypertensive group than among the normotensives, independent body mass index, physical activity, smoking sex, age, and thiazide treatment.One-third hypertensives had high value. Another third hypertensives, also about one-third slightly increased resistance. The remaining normal-low resistance.A independently related to obesity, low leisure time family history NIDDM, but not hypertension.The statistical analysis implied sequence events: activity might cause resistance, which turn blood pressure.
