摘要: Abstract The area of buyer-supplier risk management is increasingly drawing the attention academicians and professionals. However, less focus has been given to identifying right mitigation strategy (specifically, bridging buffering) for firms having different strategic orientations (such as, prospector, defender analyzer). To this end, we review literature present a theoretical model grounded in choice theory that explores how operating business environments respond by adopting appropriate strategies. relationship between buyer supplier influenced motivating factors (for example, trust dependence) as they are key elements social exchange theory. Based on sample 184 responses from survey with Indian organizations, validate test research hypotheses using structural equation modelling. Findings reveal decision adopt particular varies environment which firm operates majorly factors. Another interesting finding shows these strategies help managing enhancing downstream supply chain performance.
