摘要: Summary Background. The competence for home health care is part of the fundamental features required when taking people with chronic disease. It described as ability, skill and preparation user or their family caregiver possesses in order to perform work caring. Objective. To describe compare Colombian illness caregivers different regions Colombia. Materials Methods. Quantitative, descriptive, comparative cross-sectional study conducted between 2012 2014 five geographical sample consists 2231 participants including caregivers. measurement instruments used were Survey characterization caring Dyad patient - GCPC-UN-D, Home instrument “GCPC-UN-CPC”, both its versions. Descriptive statistics analyze competence. For comparison groups nonparametric tests independent samples used.
