摘要: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a severe lung characterized by progressive airflow limitation. Salmeterol and formoterol are two commonly used drugs in COPD therapy, which act as β2-receptor agonists. In the current study, mouse model of induced airway lipopolysaccharide inhalation was established. The therapeutic efficacy salmeterol co-treatment investigated this over 56-day-long observation period. It also identified that functional residual capacity inspiratory resistance were significantly improved after and/or treatment compared with control group (all P<0.01). Furthermore, histological staining tissue samples indicated inflammation, thickening smooth muscle, goblet cell hyperplasia small vessel obstruction reduced mice treated formoterol, suggesting beneficial for ongoing blood remodeling COPD. most common treatment-associated adverse events hypertension proteinuria. conclusion, combined more effective either single agent, has value clinical patients
