Blends and films of linear ethylene polymers with polyurethane and method of their extrusion

摘要: Head pressure and extruder torque in the extrustion of linear ethylene polymers such as low density polyethylene (LLDPE) are reduced by adding a small amount (less than 5 weight percent) thermoplastic polyurethane. Films extruded from blend exhibit better surface appearance reduction melt fracture.
