摘要: Adsorption isotherms at 298 K have been measured on four different carbons for six gases: argon, carbon monoxide, hydrogen, methane, nitrogen and oxygen pressures up to 7 MPa. For all the carbons, a molar basis, was adsorbed greater extent than other gases hydrogen least. These same were then using temperatures corresponding reduced temperature of 2.36 about 1.0. Under those conditions, five presented very similar uptakes any given although porous nature these different. The exceptional gas hydrogen. every carbon, much gases. In cases, reversible suggesting that only physisorption involved. It would appear can penetrate into pores within structure go undetected by conventional pore or surface characterisation techniques. with highest 77 N2 D-R micropore volume, AX-21, still showed greatest uptake under conditions.
